Once a quarter, MemberClicks employees are proud and excited to participate in a community project. Sometimes we donate toys or canned food, but today we donated time to Open Hand Atlanta.
Their website says it best: "...many of our friends and neighbors cannot afford proper nutrition, some are too sick to prepare their own meals, and thousands of others are at risk for chronic disease simply because of their diets."
Clickers spent this morning packaging, sealing, and labeling food at the Open Hand facility to be delivered this Saturday to individuals in need of nutritious food.
The morning started out by getting dressed:
Teresa dons her hair net. Chase is already ahead of her.
Lam, Aaron and Kinsey are lookin' good!
Robert had a beard guard as well.
Lindsay models the apron
Hart helps Lam get ready.
Quick prep speech!
Then we got to work!!
Part of the turkey dinner team: from left to right, Robert on apple/cranberry chutney, Jordan on turkey, and Kinsey on mashed potatoes.
Aaron and Kinsey bond over mashed potatoes
Teresa ran the packaging machine like a champ.
Hart dished out chutney while Chase handled the broccoli. It was quite the assembly line.
Robert and Jordan hard at work.
Kinsey is really serious about mashed potatoes.
The finished product
Chase wasn't staying in his hair net one second longer than he had to.
We ended up packaging 1,313 healthy turkey dinners and had a lot of fun!
