Every time Google opens a new office most of the working world is green with envy.  Definitely because of the the fully-stocked kitchens and cozy work areas, but also because of how HAPPY the Google employees look, happily tapping away at their desks or sliding down twisty slides from the fish-themed conference room to the cowboy-themed break room.

Culture lessons from tech companies

The slide might have something to do with their happiness. But really, the overall joy, retention, and satisfaction of Google employees has not to do with stuff, but culture.
