Clickers had so much fun volunteering with Open Hand Atlanta back in the spring that we just had to go back for our summer volunteer project. So yesterday a dozen Clickers gave up their mornings to scrub up and jump back on the assembly line to package meals for Atlantans in medical and financial need.
They looked like this (Thanks to Greg for modeling):
We worked in an assembly line, portioning out food, sealing trays, labeling them, and putting them on pallets for delivery.
After several hours of work, we packaged nearly 1500 healthy meals!
But our work wasn't over! Clickers got to work packaging healthy lunches and snacks for kids at summer programs and medically restricted neighbors.
And in true clicker form, we had to end with a group picture!
