We landed in Detroit on Saturday, and since then, we’ve been having a BLAST! No, seriously. Saturday night was the Opening Ceremony of ASAE’s 2015 Annual Meeting & Exposition, and boy was it fun. It was held at the Henry Ford Museum, which is home to several iconic artifacts, including the Rosa Parks bus, John F. Kennedy’s presidential limousine, Abraham Lincoln’s chair, the mighty Alleghany locomotive, and even the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile. Check out some of these picture-perfect moments!
The first full day of ASAE Annual kicked off on Monday, August 8, with an awesome Opening Session from Josh Linkner, a New York Time’s best selling author and top-rated keynote speaker. In his presentation, he talked about 5 Obsessions of Innovators, which are as follows:
- Get curious
- Crave "what's next?"
- Defy tradition
- Get scrappy
- Push the boundaries
