It’s the first full week of the new year, and chances are, you’re ready to hit the ground running.
By now, you likely have your organization’s 2020 goals laid out, and for many, that includes organizational growth. You want to recruit as many new members as you can!
To hit that goal, it’s important to have a few key messages that really resonate with your prospects. (One message may not appeal to everyone.)
So, what key messages can you try? Below are two ideas:
“The future is now. Are you professionally equipped?”
2020 used to feel so far away — so futuristic! But here we are...kicking off a new decade.
Play into that futuristic (or, not-so-futuristic-anymore) idea in your recruitment messaging. Remind prospects that the future is now, but also ask them, “How future-proof are your skills?”
Then, finish it off with a, “Keep them top-notch with a membership to [Your Organization’s Name]!”
“A new decade starts now. Where do you want your career to go?”
There’s just something so exciting about a new year. It’s like a fresh start. And the fact that 2020 begins a new decade makes it all that much more exciting.
Since your prospects are likely viewing this year as a fresh slate, use that in your recruitment messaging.
Remind them, “A new decade starts now.” And then ask them, “Where do you want your career to go?”
A lot can happen career-wise in 10 years. If you can get them to think about it from that standpoint — and see the opportunity there — they’ll be much more likely to want to take the first steps now.
