Use a content calendar for social media
We know that you see this sentiment everywhere, but we really want to drive this point home. Now more than ever, professionals are turning to social media to get a glimpse of your organization’s brand and to see how you interact with your audience.
One of the best ways to keep your social media healthy and active is to consider making a content calendar (with tools like Google Sheets or Trello to track). This system allows for you to plan in advance for each month or quarter to help keep ahead of the game. In addition, it will allow you to have a quick reference to make sure you’re not focusing too heavy on one theme.
Get referrals from current members
No matter if your organization is brand new or a century old, gaining new members via existing member referrals is one of your best bets for strategically growing your member base. Why? If you think about your prospective members on a scale with one side being a cold lead (uninterested) to another side being a hot lead (very interested), a member referral would be red hot as most people like to participate when they have a strong recommendation.
