Engaging First-Time Conference Attendees: 4 Tactics to Try

Of course you want to provide an exceptional experience for ALL of your conference attendees, but ensuring that happens for your first-time attendees is particularly important. The A, B, C’s of ASAE

Are you an association professional? Are you familiar with ASAE’s Annual Meeting & Exposition? If not, allow us to fill you in. After all, it is THE can’t-miss event of the year.

Behold, the A, B, C’s of ASAE:

  • ASAE Annual attracts more than 5,000 association professionals from around the country for three full days of networking and thought-provoking education sessions – 120+ education sessions, at that!
  • This year, it is being held in Detroit! (August 8 – 11)
  • ASAE Annual attracts organizations of all sizes, including small staff, medium staff, and large staff.
  • The ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition is open to all association professionals, even nonmembers of ASAE.
  • Association professionals registering for the meeting as a nonmember will receive a complimentary one-year membership in ASAE. (Score!)
  • There are multiple parties at ASAE Annual, including an Opening Night Celebration at the Henry Ford Museum (where the Rosa Parks bus and the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile await) and an evening at The Fox Theatre (where Cirque Dreams and Lionel Richie will perform).
  • ASAE Annual offers everyone an opportunity to earn CAE credit by signing up for one of nine EduTours. This year, each one of the EduTours will target one of the CAE knowledge domains by touring and learning from some of Detroit’s best and brightest.

If you’re interested in attending ASAE Annual, take a look at the registration information here.

If you aren’t able to attend ASAE Annual, we totally understand. You can still stay in the loop though by following #ASAE15 on Twitter. We’ll be tweeting updates as well, so feel free to follow us @MemberClicks.
