The Why Behind Our Regional Training Events

If you’ve been reading MC Insider (and our emails) over the past year, you’ve probably noticed us talking a bit about Regional Training. And you may have also noticed a theme: We like to ask you about your “why,” and share ours, too!

Since Regional Training (where we come to your neighborhood for two days of in-depth software training sessions) may be new to many of you, we wanted to take a moment and explain the “why” behind regularly hosting these events:

To make live training accessible to everyone: In-person training is so valuable, and providing it is a huge priority for us. But we have customers all over the country! By hitting a few different regions (hence Regional Training - get it?) every few months, we hope to make attending at least one event each year easier for everyone.

To spend time together, face-to-face: Regional Training allows us to tackle topics that are more advanced. While we’re always happy to host a webinar or jump on the phone to guide you through a difficult process, being able to present comprehensive content in person is priceless. Plus, it gives us the opportunity to discover more about what is important to your organization when it comes to your technology. (Which is what it’s all about, after all!)

To learn from each other: No Regional Training event is the same. We use an agenda as a guide, but each group is so different that new questions and topics often come up straight from attendees. These events are so interactive that we’ll be a tight-knit bunch after just a couple days - make sure you get each other’s contact info to stay in touch! You’ll love having fellow users as a resource to bounce ideas off of.

To give you an in-depth look at your organization: All of this, to be able to dive deep into the database you use every day! Used well, your membership management software becomes your association or chamber’s lifeline. It can tell you all you need to know about an individual member, program, event, your organization as a whole - you name it!

Taking a couple days to brush up on what you already know, while learning some new tricks, can make all the difference in managing your organization and serving your members. Keep an eye on our training page and your email for 2019 date and location announcements!
